The Court of Appeal made a special notification today (05) regarding alleged major drug trafficker Shiran Basik. The Attorney General was instructed to inquire into the possibility of allowing him food from home and granting him greater access to his lawyers, and to report back to the court.

Order issued when petition was taken up

This notification was made when a petition challenging the detention of Shiran Basik was taken up before the court today.

It is reported that the suspect, Shiran Basik, is currently being interrogated under detention orders by the Police Central Crimes Investigation Bureau.
