A group of 10 airport managers from Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) is flying out to India for a specialised capacity-building programme.
According to the Indian High Commission in Colombo, the training is scheduled from November 16 to 27, 2026, at the Indian Aviation Academy in New Delhi.
Strengthening Aviation Ties
The programme gives participants a chance to pick up international best practices in aviation and share their own professional expertise.
Prior to the tour, the Indian High Commission hosted an interactive session for the selected airport managers.
The exercise falls under India's expanded capacity-building framework for Sri Lanka, which trains more than 1,000 Sri Lankan citizens annually to boost professional skills and bilateral cooperation in the sector.
