The Sri Lankan Rupee appreciated slightly against the US Dollar today, November 5, 2026, when compared to Wednesday.

The selling rate for the US Dollar remained steady at Rs. 337.

CBSL exchange rates

Figures released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka show that the buying rate for the US Dollar shifted down from Rs. 328.18 to Rs. 328.08.

At the same time, the selling rate came down from Rs. 337.13 to Rs. 337.02.

The rupee also saw slight movements against a broader basket of foreign currencies, including Gulf currencies.
