Doctors are getting ready to take to the streets. The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has announced plans to hold a protest in Colombo on November 10.

The trade union stated that the action is being taken over economic injustices currently faced by medical professionals.

According to a Facebook post shared by the GMOA, the demonstration is scheduled to start at 12 noon.

The doctors plan to stage their protest directly in front of the Colombo National Hospital.
