Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka, Levan S. Dzhagaryan, met Speaker Dr Jagath Wickramaratne yesterday (04) at the Parliament premises.
During the meeting, the Ambassador handed over an official invitation addressed to the Speaker from Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

It was also mentioned that this would pave the way to advance parliamentary dialogue between the two nations and expand bilateral cooperation across a broad range of sectors.
